1960's, Large, Expressionist Oil Painting, 'The Game'

Large, French, expressionist oil on canvas depicting a group of sportsmen engaged in an unidentified game. Richly painted almost to the point of impasto, thick luxurious brush strokes and to die for craquelure in the duck egg blue background, revealing the vibrant orange layer beneath.
