1978, oil on canvas, entitled, 'Verrieres,' by visual French artist, Genevieve Zondervan (b.1922). Translucent bottles overlay each other in pearly grey, olive, cow parsley and viridian. A cube of light interrupts the piece top right affording some breathing space for the eye. A light and tranquil piece, easy on the eye.
Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Fenêtre sur mer' sold at Ader 'Post-war & Contemporary' in 2016.
