Mexican Market Scene Aurelio PESCINA (1938-1990)

Bustling market place painting by well documented artist Aurelio PESCINA (1938-1990).

Satsuma and lemon buildings frame a gaggle of turquoise and peach awnings, sunny folk in denim blues and sea glass greens gather to shop and pass the time of day.

About the Artist

From an early age Aurelio Pescina showed interest in painting and thanks to a scholarship granted by the Government of San Luis Potosí of Mexico, he managed to expand his studies at the School of Painting and Sculpture of the INBA.

During his stay in the capital of the country he participated in the realization of the murals of the National Museum of Anthropology and exhibited in various galleries and cultural centres.
