Mid-century Landscape, 'Town Square, Winter,' Par Lindblad
Mid-century Landscape, 'Town Square, Winter,' by Swedish artist, Par Lindblad (1907-1981).
Beautifully executed with rich, creamy paint application. Two men in charcoal coats walk across a wintery town square. Snow sits heavily on the roof of a petrol blue cabin. The lemon yellow building shines chartreuse from its windows. A red truck leaves tyre marks in the snow.
